It worked — but the outlet was fixed in place, which made cleaning harder. With intensive use, the restriction opening could clog over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe second generation solves this with a removable Spout: unscrew the outlet, clean it separately, put it back in. The result: consistent performance over time, because nothing clogs up. With classic bottomless portafilters, the grind has to be fine enough for the coffee itself to build enough resistance.
