Hario Replacement Glass Top – Coffee Syphon Technica 600 ml (TCA-5)
At the top, above the flame, sits the upper globe where the real performance happens: the water rises, the coffee steeps in the pale brew, and as the heat fades, everything settles back down, clear and calm. This glass globe is the stage for the whole Technika.
It sits directly above the heat source and goes through heating and cooling with every brew – over time, one reason why this particular glass eventually wants replacing.
Where extraction happens
In the upper globe, hot water meets the ground coffee, and this is exactly where it's decided how clear and aromatic the cup turns out. A clean seal on the lower glass bulb is essential for building the pressure that creates the vacuum – and with it, the flow back through the filter.

No, this spare part only includes the upper glass. Replacement cloth filters are available separately in our Hario collection.
