The bold, multi-faceted shape echoes the design language of the first La Marzocco espresso machines from 1927. The set was created in collaboration with POLSPOTTEN, the Amsterdam design house known for bold colours and characterful objects. Each bowl is handcrafted from glazed porcelain; the glossy, speckled surface gives every piece its own character. The four colours are matched to the Linea Mini and Linea Micra – if you own one, you'll recognise the connection; if not, you still get four bowls with a character all their own.
What we eat doesn't only taste of what's inside – the vessel plays a part too. The colour, weight and surface of a bowl demonstrably influence how we perceive taste and texture. A breakfast served from a bowl with character is therefore never just a practical moment.
